Flora, Fauna, and Folding Chairs
At Camp Outpost, we know outdoor magic isn’t just found in mountaintop sunrises or riverside campfires—it’s stitched into the leather of a handmade journal and tucked in the scent of a candle that smells like you bottled spring. This isn’t your typical arts and crafts session; it’s creativity, curiosity, and connection unleashed under open skies.
Workshops like “Art of Leathercraft” and “Wildflower Candle-Making” are where hands get dirty and imaginations run wild. One minute, you’re carving leather by hand; the next, you’re learning how wildflowers inspire a fragrance that feels like freedom in a jar. Think camp vibes mixed with craftsmanship, all while leaning into environmental stewardship and learning how nature has been the real MVP all along.
And it gets better—sometimes, we bring in the pros. You could be stitching up a camp throw alongside a local artisan who tells stories you won’t find on Google or crafting with guest speakers who’ve spent their lives exploring how creativity can change how we see the outdoors (and ourselves). Think of them as the spark to your next creative fire.
We’re making sure these experiences aren’t exclusive to those with shiny gear or Instagram-worthy hikes. Our outreach is grounded, thoughtful, and adaptable because we’re here for the folks who don’t always get the golden invite to the outdoor table. From marginalized communities in the outdoor industry to individuals with neurodiverse needs and different physical adaptations—we see you. We’ve built this for you.
Because out here, the outdoors is a creative canvas, and everyone gets a seat—whether it’s a camp chair, a hammock, or just a patch of grass.
