In partnership with Girls Inc., Camp Outpost brings our mobile surf-skate programming directly to scholars, introducing the foundations of skateboarding through movement-based learning, creative challenges, and hands-on skill development.

Using surf-style skateboards, scholars build skills in balance, stance, kick-push, momentum, compression and extension, body positioning, and board control. Each week builds on the last, connecting new skills with familiar movements and giving scholars the space to practice, problem-solve, and progress at their own pace.

From navigating our sidewalk chalk Surf Snake to riding the Party Wave and introducing freestyle maneuvers, each challenge brings a new opportunity to work through hesitation, support one another, and celebrate progress.

Our goal is to create a Third Space where girls can take healthy risks, develop physical and emotional resilience, build trust in their abilities, and discover what happens when they keep showing up for themselves and each other.
