Community Free Stand-Up Paddleboarding Day

Camp Outpost is opening the shoreline for a free community Stand-Up Paddleboarding Day at Lake Cunningham.

On July 25, we’ll be offering rolling SUP QuickStart classes from 5:30–8:00 PM out of our Lake Cunningham Board Shop, located in the blue building next to the boat launch at Entrance 1 of the park.

These short beginner-friendly sessions are designed to help participants build comfort, learn basic paddle skills, understand water safety, and get a real first step into paddling culture. No experience is needed. We’ll provide the boards, paddles, PFDs, and coaching.

Classes will be offered first come, first served throughout the evening. Come as you are, bring your people, and get on the water with us.

This is what access looks like: gear on the shoreline, coaches in the water, and a community learning together one paddle stroke at a time.
